Moffitt Day in Tallahassee (2025)

On March 12, Moffitt Cancer Center gathered at the Florida Capitol for our annual Advocacy Day—a powerful opportunity to connect with state leaders and advance our mission. This year, we were joined by 45 volunteer advocates and 12 of Moffitt’s leaders, including our CEO, Board Chair, and Founder. Together, we worked to raise awareness, share our stories, and advocate for continued support of cancer research and care. Event highlights include:

  • 75 meetings with Legislators from across the state
  • $40,000 raised by the Cure on Wheels cyclists who biked 325 miles from Tampa to Tallahassee
  • 70 free skin and head and neck cancer screenings provided

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success. Your commitment makes all the difference
